Does anyone ( or should I say everyone ) use these? I think that they may be color coded, and green is the size for my Maverick

At one time I had a tricked out Allen wrench set. The handle was a rachet type, and you could swap out different type and sizes of drivers.

Sometimes I leave the tool in the screw, to see if the screw is traveling. A friend and I both had that problem. He sent his guitar back to the factory. I coated the threads with adhesive putty that was used to stick on transducer pickups on the inside of a guitar. Don't all cringe at once…..It worked. But yeah, I am NOT recommending to do this. I mean, ……I may have made a huge mistake, doing that 34 years ago, but so far no problems.

| I had a suitably sized allen wrench (cheap chrome plated model) which I was always searching for. I finally hacksawed it off a little more than an inch and put a set-screw knob on it. It's now small enough that I "store" it in whatever pedal tuning screw I last adjusted. It even sort of looks like it belongs there. |

years ago i stumbled on this retractable cable and found a little plastic bead thing that fit right inside the cable loop and around my allen wrench.
