| I was watching the old Eastwood movie "Every which way you can" and was curious who did the steel work in that movie, and who did the steel work for the track Cotton Eyed Clint. The credit for Cotton Eyed Clint is listed as Texas Opera Company. Further investigation revealed an LP entitled Snuff Garrett's Texas Opera Company but no individual credit....... |

| Pretty sure that would be the amazing Jaydee Maness; he played on both the "Texas Opera Company" albums I have, and also on the soundtrack to "Every Which Way but Loose", which that movie was a sequel too. |

| I know for sure that Jaydee played on the Eddie Rabbitt title track to "Every Which Way But Loose", and on the Snuff Garrett "Texas Opera Company" albums, so it would probably be Jaydee on the track you're asking about. It's certainly possible that Doug did some of the other incidental music in one or both of those movies; maybe he'll see this and let us know? |
