Bob Nelson down in Iowa recently sent me some songs out of an old Bob Wills book he had.
I've gotten busy and have a couple available for you.
The 1st is "Time Changes Everything", written by Tommy Duncan.
The 2nd is "I Knew The Moment I Lost You".
This was also written by Tommy Duncan together with Bob Wills.

Back in my youth, the first group I played with was a polka, or old time, band.
I was going through a pile of old music the other day and ran across some of the songs we used to do. I found a couple of waltzes that worked out real well on the pedal steel: "The Blue Skirt Waltz" and "Rosalinda Waltz".
Now don't get on me for calling these songs "Country Classics" because to us up here on the tundra, old time music IS classic country. You don't hear it as much as you used to but back when I was a young whippersnapper, that's what you heard on the radio.
You really had to search the dial to find a country-western station.
BTW: The two songs I mentioned above were recorded and made popular by Frankie Yankovic and the Yanks, just one of many old time bands.

My latest Country Classic is a favorite with old time bands in my neck of the woods: "Over The Waves"
And this song gives new meaning to OLD as it was written in 1888 by the Mexican composer Juventino Rosas.
The Spanish name for the song is Sobre Las Olas.
The music for "Over The Waves" was used for the song: "The Loveliest Night Of The Year".
