Good News
Just recieved this. Great news.
October 3, 2013
Surprise, surprise, after two years gone, I’m back for a temporary visit hoping to be back permanently soon. Medically I’ve had a rough ordeal. Still not allowed to drive or fly. I’m so glad to hear that so many of you have asked about me. I wondered about all of you myself. I’m looking forward to being in close touch again.
Naturally, I haven’t made any steel guitar shows, not even St. Louis. A lot has happened in the business in the last two years, some of it good, some of it horrible. I’m staying in touch closely to what’s happening in steel guitar through my store which I have four wonderful employees taking care of.
Until next time, your friend forever,
Bobbe Seymour

I too was glad to hear from Bobbe in his newsletter.
Great to have him back on the mend.
I bought my LeGrande II from Bobbe in 1999.
Just so happened that Don Helms was in the shop that day with his Gibson for repair, what a double surprise.

I'm glad Bobbe is improving. Was at his store once 2 or 3 years ago. He treated us like a long time friends. Took us over to his workshop and showed us some Bigsby's he was working on. It was very interesting. I had never seen one in person.
Bruce Bouton came in while we were there and Bobbe called him over and introduced us to him and we had a nice visit with him also. It was a GOOD afternoon!
