Great sound Mr. Pilgrim is getting from the Evans/GFI combo. That slide @2:17...man,that was pretty sweet.

Some folks own steel guitars, some people play guitars and then there are those who REALLY play steels. This is one of those. My friend, my buddy, my pastor Skip Pilgrim. What a player he is.

Hey Paul,1980 I was playing bass in a band in Dallas and Skip auditioned for us but I never knew why we didn't hire him.Seemed like a nice guy and a good player back then.
Cops aren't paid much so I steel at night.

Which pickup he uses ?....BL705?

That's right. It is a L-705 built in California. Lawrence sold the rights to the BL705 and it is now L-705.......The best pickup for a steel guitar.
