Need quick: replacement knee hex joints for ShoBud

Post by Larry Otis »

Well it finally happened. Leaned into the LKL and it just kept on going, going, gone!
I need some new hex knee lever joints quick. Anybody got some or point me in the right direction? I had heard about this problem with the pot metal on the later Buds but was lucky until today.. Help! It looks like I can do the installation. Just need some fresh real steel ones. Thanks!

What's a "knee hex joint"?

It's what Sho~Bud called 'Knee Lever Bracket'. It's the 'L'-shaped part
that is secured to the hex cross-shaft and the knee lever mounts to.

Jim Flynn has made several of these for me--all steel and solid! Great Guy too!

I manufacture them also. Polished or satin finish.
Michael Yahl has them in stock too.
