Thank you Roy & Jim for your kind words. Re saturation, Jim, I TRY to get a good white balance before I start shooting in a different location - it does seem to work most of the time for me. Did you receive photos I sent you?
As I mentioned at my first posting of these photos, playing rugby sometimes gets in my way, especially when an opponent is younger & more athletic. I don't like them to get by!! See following three images.

These should have given all who couldn't make the ISGC this year, for whatever reason, a reasonable overview of what happened on the main stage. Although I've got more photos, this is all I'll post unless someone has a "request" for a specific image I've not posted. Hope you can make the ISGC next year. Regards, Jim Harrison

Great pictures but I wanted to clear something up. The lady in the picture with Joe Wright and I is none other than Miss Lana. We were guest DJaying her salute to the Hall Of Famer's show on SteelRadio.com.

Thanks, Mike!! I thought that it was Miss Lana at first but her hair style looked different so (incorrectly!) I said it was Debbie Connor. My apologies to ALL involved!!

Thanks for posting the pictures. I had planned on going this year, but had to make a trip to Kansas City, Mo in May rather than August.

Thank you to all who have made very nice comments about my photos. I must admit that I was lucky to have been enabled to get these photos & also lucky to have actually captured many of the images. I would guess that it is obvious that I didn't take the rugby photos Chuck Lettes commended me for!!! Thank you all again; encouragement helps one improve - I hope!! Kindest regards, Jim Harrison

Jim always does a great job with taking photos. No change, although he is now the official staff photographer. Well, hard work for him now as he has to be present for every act on stage.

Thanks for the hard work, Jim!

Kind Regards, Walter

Jim, as usual you produced some outstanding photos of the Main event.
I was so glad to view the photos, since I was unable to make the show this year. It made missing it hurt a little bit less. It's always great to see these fantastically talented artist at work.
Thank you so much for sharing one of your great talents...

Again, I would like to express my sincere thanks to all posters who have given me, and my photos, such praise. It is especially pleasing to receive praise from Chuck Lettes, Walter Stettner, & Bill Stafford who were all subjects of my shooting. I was very glad to see and speak with Bill at some length, following his absence from the ISGC for the past few years. I wish him the very best success for his upcoming Steel Guitar Show in Gulfport in just over a month from now. I'm also glad that his old Navy buddy, Ray Harrison, will be joining him for his show. I'm pleased so many folks enjoyed seeing my photos. Sincerely, Jim Harrison
