Harry Connick Jr. joins American Idol

Post by Barry Blackwood »

I'm sure he could use the bucks, and at this point in his career he needs to do something to stay relevant, but IMO this is a big step backwards for a classy guy like Harry..

You have to admit there will be plenty of exposure. However I'm sorry I won't get a chance to see him. I never watch the show. :\

That's alright, Joe. There are plenty of better places to see him, I'm sure. :)

I enjoyed Harry's expertise last season.
I'm so happy he'll be a judge. He'll add class and style which is so needed. Please don't become a yes........judge!

if i could add 10-20 million bucks a season to my income by just sitting at a judges table, i'd probably do it.
you'd only have to work one season for a lifetime's income.

I'm sure Harry will be paid well for his time, but I doubt he will command the kind of money a Mariah or JLo get. He doesn't have the T&A for it...
