I'm having difficulty figuring out how these posts work...anyway, enjoy this photo of Eric's doggie "Augie". I promised Eric I'd take care of his most beloved "friend" and I'm doing so.

Thank you all for being his friends/fellow musicians, etc. I had done a very long elaborate message to many of you - Doug/Harley/Tony/Bob, etc., etc., but didn't do "save"...Anyway, I pr;ay that all is going well with you all.

I ask you for prayers for my "left-over" son, as he called himself! He's struggling with his faith/keeping his business afloat (Lundmark Inc., Commercial Cabinetry)/and his marriage. I'd appreciate it so much.

with my gratefulness forever. Eric's Mom, Audrey

Can't believe it's two years already. I do miss the old curmudgeon and his `interesting` posts...and his phone calls. I'm off to listen to The Stars Look Down right now.

Miss you, Eck.

Awwrabest,

Arch.

I believe all of us miss Eric every time we log on.
He was always a great read. Augie looks well taken
care of. All the best to your "left-over" son.

I recall Erics Grandmother lived just west of the twin cities? Prayers for your son, Audrey. (One of my favorite women names by the way)

I, too, miss Eric. He introduced me to members of his favorite band and now I am struggling to take his steel playing spot. A great guy!

I miss Eric also......he was definitely a mainstay for years on here and he always delivered something that would make you think, laugh, cringe, or scratch your head in wonder.....and sometimes, all of these things at once......he was genuine......

Audrey,
I know you are so proud of both of your sons! I have two sons, and can only imagine that losing Eric has been hard for his brother, and that you are both still loving and missing him so much.

Eric made quite an impact on people here on this forum. Among his posts, he filled many with his interpretation of pain and love and dying, even about his early relationship with Augie. Some were so raw that my heart cried. It's the mother in me, I suppose.

Howard R. said it so well in his post- Eric was genuine.

We pray for God's comforting presence, and hope you will drop by often....

Thanks, Joachim. I have this saved, but couldn't work out how to post it. I believe the video was put together by Eric's nephew to be played at his funeral. Eric had recorded it in his garden on the day before he was to go in to hospital. He had called me the day previous, but I was not available to to take the call. You can feel the apprehension in his playing. I wish I could speak to him again. A true SGF character, sadly missed.

Eric supported me through emails and telephone while I was having my liver transplant, as I did him thru his illness. Like others, I too miss Eric.
