wet reverb mono or stereo
can anyone tell me if i need mono or stereo wet reverb? I curently use rack system with dual cabinets . which would give me the best sound? thanks for any advice
Unless other bits of your chain are actually stereo (different delays or effects in opposite channels), stereo reverb just sounds like a waste of money to me.
but if you're doing the 1982 thing of chorus in one side and dry in the other, then it might make sense.
If both cabs are getting the same signal, I wouldn't bother.
Disclosure: I play through a phase shifter, a Buzz Tone and either:
Fender Twin with its own tube reverb, or;
Session 500 or LTD400 and one channel of an MPX100.
If you're gigging rather than recording, as soon as the Tele barks or the fiddle squawks, yer stereo effects get rendered moot.

2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects
