Gary plays this tune on his newest project as well as the new Tribute to the Big E, by Steve Fishell. If you want to "feel the steel" and why we all love it so much check one (or both) of them out.

It this does not move you please call me so I can slap you up long side the head.

Larry, no slaps needed! I love playing this song by Gary in close confines like my little car. That way I can really let the solo steel really sink in and envelop my whole being. Gary, my biggest idol lately, sure does a great job on this beautiful tune. The style is all Gary, like the rest of the CD. The arrangement is totally unique and surprising...like the three piano notes at the very end. Now who planned that???
