There is a cut on this album that features Paul Franklin on what I guess is lap steel. It's called "That's What Broken Hearts Do".
Paul has a great over-driven/distortion sound to his fills and solo.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows how he achieves this sound. What device is he using to achieve this effect?
I've tried and can't find it.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Is this the PF Steel Dream at work? What? Can it be achieved with the PF Steel Dream. I'm about 5 weeks from having my very own.
I know studio effects devices are at play here, but how is he getting this sound?
I would love to be able to achieve it.
Paul if you still visit this forum, I'd love to hear from you as well.
Thanks much!
