Bill - I'm in awe of your recording and performance. Your experience really shows. I'd be interested to know how the 14 strings are tuned to provide such range, realizing that is only part of the equation. Also, what length bar do you use? Thanks for posting it. - Ed

I'm stunned. First Jake Shimabukuro tears this up on uke, now you've gone and created an entire band with vocalist on one instrument. Incredible.

WOW that is just totally amazing, what a labor of love working that one out, and on 14 strings as well.
What tuning do you use?

in the next few days i will sit down and do a better mix and post it. get rid of some distortion thats in a few spots. should have done that, but i just posted the rough mix.

This is excellent!
Queen was such a brilliant band...JSBach would have been impressed with this version I'd say!
That famous recording from yesteryear "Switched On Bach"" immediately came to my mind, as I started playing your version.

Bill, that was simply spine tingling and inspiring I think with that piece you may have moved our lap steel into some new fronteers, its so nice to hear some new ground being broken rather than the same tired old rehashed pieces. Some more please. Cheers

I'd like to know how you figured out that tune on a lap steel. I don't believe there is any tab for that song? You have the touch and the ear. Freddy Mercury salutes you also....
