Congratulations on reaching the 100th built guitar.

I am so proud to be an owner of one of your guitars and it's played at all my gigs and festivals. There's one coming up next weekend in Yorkshire. I love playing it, and everyone loves the look and sound of the Justice guitar.

There's lots of good steels built today, and Justice guitars are right at the top of my list.

Here's to your next 100 builds.

That quote just fit - I know how great these milestones make US as a manufacturer feel.

Fred, good for you and Brenda. I can't think of anyone who deserves to be successful anymore than you two. You have been so good to me and so devoted on making sure my guitar, you made for me, was everything I wanted. I wish I could have done my part, but it just wasn't meant to be and guess what? I am very pleased just to have some extra time on this earth, even though a greater life awaits. I know the faith you and Brenda both have and it's very evident in your Blessings.

Fred Justice is one of my dearest friends, and I love him like a brother - in fact, we are brothers in Christ.

I remember clearly the day we were talking on the phone a few years ago, when Fred said "Mike, I am SERIOUSLY thinking about trying to build my own guitar".

Because we are so close in friendship, I responded out of brotherly love - "Fred, that is the DUMBEST idea I have EVER heard! I can't think of a quicker way to starve to death."

But, the national accounting and auditing firms of Deloitte, Inc. and Ernst & Young, Inc., put together, could not count the times I've been wrong in my life. And, man oh man, was I wrong on this one!

Heartfelt congratulations, dear friend. May the Lord continue to bless you and Brenda.

I would like to add one more thing publicly - some people over the last few years have asked me why I don't play one of my dear friend's guitars. It has NOTHING to do with the quality of a Justice guitar. I own a 1975 Emmons p/p and 2 zums. I give Bruce Zumsteg the highest marks for craftsmanship, and I am proud to own zums and play Bruce's works of art. But, I think it is obvious that I am guitar-poor. When I was in the market for pedal steels, Justice Guitars did not exist. My pedal steel career, whatever it was, is over and I simply have no more need for more instruments. Don't wonder for a minute what I tell people when they ask me what they should buy today. It's a simple 1-word answer - Justice!

I'm proud to own one of these first 100 guitars, also many thanks to my good friend Chuck Lettes for making me aware of these fine Pedal Steels. The quality build and "tone to the bone" make it a virtual certainty that this is only the first hundred. God Bless Fred, keep on building the best!

Mike McGee said it right - I told Fred that he must be crazy too - and a short cut to the poor house.

Since I had worked building Desert Rose steels with Chuck that taught me NOT to build steel guitars.

Of course, I still remember Fezzy telling me NOT to buy steelseats - he said No one ever made money building seats.

We all say congratulations and know it is a lot of hard work - not only build them but promoting them as well.

First off, I'd like to congratulate you Fred on your 100th build!

Fred Justice and I have known each other for close to 35 years. We lost contact for several years, but reconnected via the Steel Guitar Forum (thanks b0b), several years back. I have managed his website for several years. Ever since back in the day when Fred's specialty was building steel guitar cases and steel guitar cabinets for other manufacturers. Which preceded the days of the Justice steel guitars.

I have to admit that I thought Fred had slipped a cog or two when he expressed his intention of building pedal steel guitars. I wasn't bashful in letting him know this in more than a few phone conversations we had regarding his plans. But, disregarding my sage advice, as he has always done once he sits his mind to something, he set about putting his plan into motion.

I was kept pretty well informed by Fred, due to him providing me with request for information and announcement changes he wanted added to his website, pertaining to his, Justice pedal steel guitars.

In a sense, I've had a front row seat; watching the Justice steel guitar develop and grow since its inception. I have witnessed the determination, hard work, and faith in the great Creator of all things bring him to this point of his 100th build.

With all of this said and in mind, I am sure we will be seeing and hearing a lot more good things out of Justice steel guitars for many years to come.

As they say in the hay fields of Indiana, "Carry on"!

it seems like yesterday you were building that first steel which I got to play and it played and sounded mighty fine. The Lord has blessed you with a great steel which I have heard nothing but positive comments and some of rhe best players are playing Justice, you see, "There's Justice in Steelin".
