American Standard body that I bought new and sent to Forrest Lee Jr for a Parsons/White style, long throw bender.

Body info:

Official American Standard Fender Telecaster Body- Premium Alder- 5 lbs, 6 oz- Thinner Undercoat Finish- Micro-Tilt Adjustment- Genuine Fender

Color: Blizzard Pearl Color is much like a pearl paint, see the lower bout for a closer look. Lots of metallic in the paint, I suspect. Not so much white, but a bit more of a warm white look. Color is Blizzard pearl.

American neck, a few years older than the body and excellent

Custom B Bender cover from WD Guitar

Fender Samarian Cobalt Noiseless, 4-way Baja Switching

6 way bridge was used, but nice, shows a little wear on the chrome (a spot where the finger might rest)

Well, I bought it from Barry and I'm going to keep it so, yes, I believe you can say it's not for sale anymore and this thread can be closed.

Since it hasn't been closed yet, here's what it looks like after today's surgery:

Got the Rio Grande Texas Twang pickups, back to a standard three way switch AND a maple neck.

Would you be interested in trading for a G&L ASAT approximately 3 yrs old. Looks, sounds and plays great. Red with hard shell case, it's a US made guitar.

The Bender's not for sale; I was just showing off how it looks after I had some mods done to it. I do have a couple of teles I'm selling in some other threads though.

This guitar looked great after all its modifications but the Forest Lee Jr. long-throw bender in this guitar was wonky. After discussing it with Forest, I ended up sending him the body and he built me a brand-new one for a great price. I guess he was relieved that the bender unit in this guitar, which might have been one of the first he has built, is now in his museum where it should be. He is a super guy, and the Parsons/White style bender in it now is all aces, just like Forest Lee Jr.

The worm has turned again... it's still not for sale but the bender has undergone yet another transformation. It's just getting better and better: Glendale vintage bridge w/compensated saddles, Fender Custom Shop neck with Kluson Tonepro tuners ... I think it's finally finished.
