SD-10 Marlin for Sale or Trade(SOLD)

Post by Ray Thomas »

Good Looking Guitar with 4 and 5. Has that good Marlin Sound. I'm selling because its a little heavy for me, age 79 with bad back and legs. Emmons Set Up. Please note that on the back on the extreme left (second picture) there is a small crack about one and one half inches long that has been repaired. Will consider a trade on a lighter model. Asking 1300 shipped and insured to the lower 48.

Pretty guitar. I sold my Mullen D-10 because it was too heavy to drag around. I wonder if the Marlen is any lighter?

weight

Tony, My system would not meet US standards of Weights and Measures but according to my bathroom scales it weighs between 38 and 39 lbs. In the case probably around 65 lbs.

Great Guitars

Post by Bill Howard »

Ray I loved my Marlen it was tone out the wazoo stayed in tune very accurate feeling and quality made Lenny Stadler was a real deal craftsman. There are plenty of parts around for these guys but you rarely ever need them this is a Pro Guitar for less than a student price One of you newby pickers should grab this you will not regret it
wanna hear tone

Brazilian Rosewood?

Post by Andy DePaule »

I don't know much about these but to me that looks like the front apron is solid Brazilian Rosewood?
If so that wood is almost impossible to get these days.
