Harmony Central Tablature

Post by David Mason »

I'm not sure if you guys know about this (or if this should be posted elsewhere), but the Harmony Central guitar site has standard guitar tab for a whole bunch of music that I haven't been able to find elsewhere, at least without buying a whole book to get one song. You have to work it out on a regular guitar first, or write it out then read it on pedal steel. I've been picking out some TV theme songs, and found "The Flintstones" and "Star Trek" themes without having to watch Nickelodeon reruns till my eyes puked. Note: the transcriptions are not always accurate, in the right key, etc. - it's done by mere six-stringers, after all. If you want to see how erudite and restrained pedal steel players are by comparison, just read a few of the Harmony Central product reviews. Wow! http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/tab.html
