1960 Gibson GA 200 Rhythm King amplifier for sale at Greg's Vintage Guitars Atlanta. This is the same amp as used by Sean Costello.2 separate channels with 2 inputs each,2X12 speaker combo,60 loud and proud watts, original tweed, grill cloth ,speakers,Gibson handle still intact. Just a "bad ass" amp for sure , less than 270 shipped from Gibson. On board and original "compression" selection knob feature.Typical Gibson used tubes. GZ34 tube rectifier,2 X 6L6,2X 6BD6,2X 6FM6 and 2X 6EU7 tubes. 95 lbs to ship, so shipping will probably be high.
$2500.00 reasonable offers entertained.

Didn't those amps have 6550's?
It's not easy to coax 60 watts from a pair of 6L6's.
I'll bet it sounds great.

The amp is featured in Vintage Guitar Magazine's March 2014 edition, Thanks to Dave Hunter at VG for the call and the writeup 3 page spread.

Yes 6550's as opposes to 6L6's as taken from the Gibson amp pages, I didn't pull the chassis or tubes out to check but should have , but that's what I like about Dave , if it's an amp then he knows it pretty well. Thanks again to Dave at VG magazine for calling me and asking to feature it .
