Herb, Hi-Low E-C#-B-G#-F#-D-B-G#
I'm not sure of his guages but I use the same E13 and string Hi-Lo
15-17- 22-24 PL
30/32- 36/38- 42/44 -48/52 I some times go with a flat wound 60.
Ricky Davis can give you specific guages as he's the Professor
My scale is 24+1/2 but I use the same guages on the 22+1/2. Maybe Ricky would give you the specifics for 22+1/2"

Hey Mike that's exactly what I would use for the 221/2 scale. How you get those big strings on that long scale and pick those very tight barbed wire>has me scratchin' my head
For a 221/2 scale this is exactly what I use for that tuning.

E 15p
C# 18p
B 20p
G# 22p
F# 30w
D 36w
B 40w
G# 50w

ON that tuning; yes the G# is the lowest note and the biggest string.
