Thank you for coming out to the convention. Your guitars are extremely beautiful. I was wondering if the mahogany model constructed from one piece of wood from head to tail as the post war Gibsons were done, or separate top, back, sides and neck as the pre war models were made. |

Thanks, Ron,- for sharing your convention photos.
They are really nice. I only took a few photos with my cell phone which never turn out too good. See you in Joliet in October.

Thanks Wally. We had a great time and will remember that experience for years to come. If you want larger photos or a specific video we may have others that are not on this thread.
Thanks Ron.
The mahogany guitar was made of 4 pieces. Body, back cover plate, neck and fingerboard. The neck has a tenon and is glued to the body like a LesPaul electric. The body is partially hollowed for the pickup and control cavity. I can make the guitar like a pre-war but I decided against it after seeing how many Gibson sides have come loose over time. By the way. I reinforce the mahogany necks with a strip of carbon fiber under the fretboard. _________________ RAM Guitars

Thanks, Ron. And funny you would mention other
videos that you might have. By any chance do you have a video of Barb Kuhn's fiddle solo with Doug and Floyd? We thought it was really beautiful.
