Well, I had nothing better to do than hop in here to check out the nothingness (is that even a word?) ... I see there's still nothing interesting and nothing happening, so I'm going to go lay down and do nothing.

'It was nothing
some car back-firing...'--thomas dolby, Airwaves

I've been away so I had to check in and see if nothing's changed. To see if it's still a wave, nothing. Just waving to see if nothing waves back.

Hello... hello... Is it still empty in there out there?

Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most... I guess that means there is NOTHING up there...

Since I have lost my mind, that means I can't think of anything, therefore I have nothing....

Nice one, Alan. All we needed was Tom Waits as an extra vocalist.

I went to get our new guitarist (first lesson...) a tuner and saw something like a clarinet. The clerk said it was a RECORDER...I asked him how many tracks it had but he just said...NOTHING !! :whoa: :?

You weren't forced to learn the recorder at school?
When I was brought up in England every schoolkid had to learn the recorder; it was mandatory. We hated it. It was probably an intentional effort to make kids hate music for life, but it's ultimate effect was NOTHING.

I remember it well, Alan. I actually bought a tenor to play the flute lick from Canned Heat's `Going Up The Country`.
