This is a pre-Bradshaw amp.

I will post loads more pictures if an interested local requests them.

Issues--

-- there is some low level white noise hiss that a prospective buyer would need to assess for him/herself in person. I, personally, am ok with it but I cannot make the call for someone else.
-- the power cord insulation was unraveling so I went to replace it, found the connection point to be extremely ballbusting so I connected it with a strong, heat-shrinked splice.
-- there is an empty bulb socket above the eq knobs that I can't for the life of me figure out.
-- there are scuffs on the tolex

Detailed photos available of everything I've mentioned.

The amp comes with a couple of extra bulbs and a remote reverb control.

I will sell it with choice of speaker ..................$750
---I've got several including BW, Kappa Neo, Eclipse, EVL (I think--might be EVM)

--or--

unloaded, no speaker, ..................................$700

C'mon Jon!

Sell this thing, other wise, I'll have to buy another amp I don't need!

How far is Holmdel NJ from you?My son in law works for Miranda Lambert and will be there the end of the month I believe. Was thinking may be he could get with you or vise versa and I could buy the amp.there are a lot of variables here.

Hey Darrell. It's an hour, hour & a half drive. A straight shot on a map but not much fun in real life. I don't have wheels so he would have to come to me. Not an easy deal but the amp's here for you if you want to try to make it happen.

Philip--how can you say "don't need". Just think how the little missus's eyes will light up when you come down the driveway in a shiny red Webb!

Morning, Bill. Yes--Webb is still here. You are totally invited. I'm off from work this week so my time is very flexible. Get in touch and let's work something out. I'm emailing you my phone #.

Just had a nice chat with Bill. I put on my plaid suit and employed my best salesman skills to talk him out of buying this. Wrong amp for him (IMHO).

Still for sale.

@ Bill-----sweat-stained with the desperation of countless 'what will it take to get you to drive this baby home?'s......

@ Bob----sorry, man. Gonna stay local. Might even give me the chance to change my mind and be glad I kept it.

Couple this Webb amp with a Telonics 15-inch neo speaker, you'll have yourself a monster tone machine! I have 2 vintage Webbs, love 'em both, and plan to get a Telonics speaker for one of them.

Did I mention this is a good deal, too?

The white noise is also present in both my vintage Webbs, I believe that comes with age. Tom Bradshaw went through both mine, did complete refurbs, and there's still a little white noise, but just turn down the sensitivity knob and it goes away, so it's dead quiet for recordings.

That's good info re: the hiss, John. Thanks for that.

The price totally reflects the self-imposed market limitation of keeping it local. If I were to decide to ship it (I'm not) the price would be considerably higher, before shipping.

I have a Milkman amp coming next month with a Telonics 15. I'm well aware of the enthusiasm people are expressing over this speaker! Looking forward to it.

This is the only time that I will bump this to the top on the last Saturday of March of 2014. After this, all other bumps will be on some other day.

Still local only.
