Charlie, I got inspired by Keith Hilton's rendition of "Harbor Lights" at the Saturday Jam so I am going to try and have something on it for us to practice by this weekend.

That Harbor Lights is a beautiful song! I've heard Walter Abbott play it but I haven't been around where that song is played much, so I don't know it!

Hey, Rick, it was great to have you at the Jam. I sure hope you'll return and bring your steel and let all of us enjoy your expertise! I still remember that one lick you played, also, I've heard Emmons play that lick on his album "Time"! I use that particular run on an introduction to 'In the Sweet By and By'. That day that I heard you play that, I said to myself, "Self, you've got to learn that!" Very Happy That's so pretty! See ya!

Jerry, thanks for the compliment. I don't remember what song that may have been. You need to come down to the Funhouse and let us pick your brain too. We all contribute a little something for each of us to learn (even a line or intro to a song). Our meetings are really laid back. We have the band-in-the-box we can slow down to practice with. Nothing fancy here unless Terry Bethel, Eddie Lane or Steve Melchi drop by. The only reason we have not invited Keith Hilton is because the room is really small and we all know that Keith plays with his shoes off... Whoa!
