Got mine this morning. Can't wait to play it tonight @ The Finish Line in Ft. Worth.

When I worked @ MSA we never shipped on Friday. Stuff lays around in the warehouse. It always was faster to wait till Monday morning.
Just sayin....

I haven't had the opportunity to record anything with it yet. And still don't have any really good photos. I will say this, it plays and sound incredible. Makes me want to leave all the D-10s at home.

Yes, Doug is working very hard. I placed my order in mid-late March and the ETA is mid June. They are very popular.

Just a quick note to say I received my guitar yesterday, I haven't had much chance to play yet, but what little I've done has been fabulous.

I'll take some pictures soon, I chose the wood finish, with the removable arm pad.

Well I tossed between a red or black one and as the popular choice appears to be black I have gone with that. I continue to like what I hear and the sound is buzzzzzzing in my ears. JAMES TAYLOR

Wow Mule! I would have worn my cowboy boots if I had known you were going to post this to the forum! Thanks again for letting me check out your new Zum. I was very impressed. This video was straight into your NV-112 with no reverb. I have been an Emmons guy all of my playing years, and am searching for a light weight guitar. That's when I came across this Encore model. I contacted Mule and he let me try his out. Nothing but positive things to say. Great craftsmanship and design. The only negative would be the case. I think it is as heavy as the guitar! Has anyone tried the lighter case Doug offers? Either way I'm contacting Doug after the Holiday and placing an order.

The standard cases weigh anywhere from 13 to 16 pounds just depending on what kind of plywood they happen to use the day they make them. The case company tells me they really don't have much control over that and I suppose it's true.

The lighter case still weighs 10 pounds or a little more so it isn't that much of a weight savings, and they are kind of pricey requiring an upcharge of $85.

The best way around all of that is one of the nice little two wheel carts they sell at Lowe's for about thirty bucks. They fold flat, weigh next to nothing and will carry a Nashville 112 and Encore all at once with no trouble at all. You can even stack a pac a seat on there if you are careful.

Low +9
Mid -3
Shift. 800
High and Presence +3
No reverb
No effects

Fred , My one is being processed now by the customs in the UK and should be getting it soon. Mule, thanks again for your excellant input and that was the first time I have heard the sound of the ENCORE and what a fine performance that was too. Keep up all the good work you steel guitar boys;especially the ENCORE ones.Thanks a whole heep DOUG for the time you have taken to answer questions and the excellant service you provide.
