Today I had the honor of spending a couple of hours at Mitsuo's shop in Tokyo. He was gracious enough to take time on his Sunday afternoon for me! What a nice gentleman and his instruments are amazing machines.

And here are my two young colleagues who took their time to escort me and then show me some excellent udon noodles.

Who says business travel is all bad. Very Happy

Mitsuo is a fine gentleman and I look forward to our visit in Gulfport in Nov. He is also a pretty doggone good player.

Man, I really need to get out of the back woods more often. This old country boy is impressed that the steel guitar is truly a world instrument. It makes me happy to see folks from countries that I would've never thought knew what a steel guitar looked like, let alone know how to play the dang things, post in these threads!!!!!!! Like the old Johnny Cash song said, we're learnin' somethin' everyday mama."
