Just received an e-mail from my son who lives on the Big Island that Jerry was awarded the Maiki Aui Steel Guitar Legeacy Award this year.

Great to hear Jack that Jerry is still receiving honors years after his passing and the younger folks can learn about his legacy and his wonderful contributions to the world of steel guitar, as well as music in general. Cool
