Power Amp Needed

Post by Johnny Howington »

In need of a new power amp for rack system! You can email me pictures and information including specs.
I would like to find a good used SLA-2 studio Amp or a Stewart World 1.2 power amp. If there are any better please send me information. Thanks!

Rack Unit

I am using one of the systems I bought off the forum. It came with a tc eletronices M300 Dual Engine Processor and a Stereo Steel Pre-Amp and 15 inch Eminence patriot speakers. Looking at a couple but nothing for sure yet. If you have one send me some pictures and information about the amp. I would like to purchase one as soon as possible.

power amp

Post by Johnny Howington »

If anyone could help me please! The power amp I had was a SLA-2 200 watt power amp. I'm not looking so much to move up in watts because the one I had was plenty and I had all the volume I could stand. I just want the best fit for what I am using. Not saying I won't buy one for right price but I just want it to work nicely with rest of my rack system. Don't mind sending some advice! I am not an electrician by no means! I may end up buying a new one but thought I would see if any forum members had one sitting around they need to get rid of that I could use.

Johnny, Here is one of the QSC's. They both look the same. Only difference is the power.

I could use a 2 space unit but weight is usually a factor in those. The QSC weighs 21 lbs. Also it can't be any deeper than 14 inches to fit my rack case. Can you email me the prices and weights of the peavey amps. 3500 and the 1500

Thanks for all the help. I decided on the Stewart World 1 space rack weighing in at 10 lbs. Look forward to trying it out.
