Hi Mickey, Thanks for all your vid's. In this Eastern Swing one you say we need a pedal/lever that raises string 4, 1/2 step and you show doing it with pedal 7. Is pedal 7 raising 4 1/2 step to Bb getting to be common? I can tell that it gives a nice C7 at the open position by raising A to Bb. Both my D10 guitars have P7 raising strings 3 & 4 which gets another inversion of the C6 chord at the 5th fret, which is pretty handy. I like that progression in Eastern Swing with the bIII chord down to the tonic with the D note on top of each chord, (bIII6th, IIdom7th, bIIMaj7th, to I ) but since I don't have the 1/2 step raise on string 4 I have to 1/2 pedal the pedal 4 on the second chord(IIdom7), then I can mash it all the way for the whole step raise on the bIImaj7) I checked the Carter website for the 'common tunings' and they don't show the 1/2 step on P7. What is your copedant like on C6th neck and what else are you using to get the common C6th stuff? Thanks, Larry Robertson, Denver PS: Nice shirt !!! _________________ Website: www.Music2myEars.net

Larry, yes its pretty common I think...Actually my Center Knee Left raises it 1/2..pedal 7 is the standard whole step change. You could try a 1/2 pedal on 7....Mick _________________ ARTIST RELATIONS: MSA GUITARS
