I have the opportunity to buy nearly from the neighbourhood a Peavey Session 400. The guy says it is in good condition. Maybe this amp would do a good job at home and in the rehearselroom until my dream the Peavey Nash 1000 come true...
Can anybody tell more about this amp? Watts? 12" or 15" Speakers?
Weight? Sound on stage? Will my Mullen D10 8+6 and my Shoe-Bud LDG sound like the world will never be the same?

I've got a pair of them and I'd stack it against the 1000 any day. Buy it!

I love mine, would not be without one, what is the price, sometimes they are inexpensive because steel players use them almost exclusively

Sigi, I just bought a Session 400 with a 15" JBL. Surprisingly light amp for something with around 210 watts output. Had Peavey go through the electronics, not that expensive. I think the JBL was also a bit tired because after I hooked up a late model 1501 Black Widow, it seemed to have more kick and clarity. Reverb is nice enough. Doesn't have the bells and whistles as some of the newer amps offer, but it should do fine for you. The last few I've seen were going for $300 to $350.

I have a 76' Session 400 that I got new and just love it. I use it in a 2 amp set up with an 86 Nashville 400. Love them both.
