Jim Bob,
Mooney guitars are built by Tom Mooney,
Arlington Tenn. just N.E. of Memphis.

They are very well built, all very professional, unique changer and bell-cranks.
pristine fit and finish.

He builds to order, any set-ups added features,,, custom built to your taste.

I don't want to speak outta turn for Tom.
He's on the Forum, I'm sure he will respond when he see's this post.

The Mooney pedal steel is one of the best kept secrets in the manufacture of steels. Tom is a master machinist who makes every part of the instrument and has incorporated a number of innovative features in the design. He diaplays his guitars at several of the shows (most recently at Chattanooga). Don't miss a chance to sit down to one and give it a try. You will be impressed.

Does Tom have a website for his steel guitars? Maybe he could post a picture on the forum.
