I'm probably a late comer to this PBS TV special, but I watched it a couple times over the weekend.

Just great tunes and musicians with lots of steel guitar. Ones I saw were Greg Sardinha and Jeff Au Hoy. Such listenable and enjoyable Hawaiian music so soothing to the ear.

Cyril Pahinui among other vocalists and fabulous musicians. You might want to keep an eye out for it on your local PBS station.

What you saw there was real Hawaiian music, and not the "tourist" variety, like I play ! Very Happy

And Jeff Au Hoy fits right in there, with his style.
