Evans SE200 amp $500

Post by Brandon Autry »

Selling a 1996 Evans SE200 amp. Sounds great. Very powerful and easily portable. I'd like to get $500 shipped . Has a brand new emminence beta 15a speaker (pictures are before the speaker change) needs a new reverb tank, but has been tested with a known good tank and works fine.

Edit: a new reverb tank has been installed and works great.

Hey Mike

The Depth and Expand switches were right next to each other on the FET 500.

The S E models became the next generation of Evans steel amps after the FET 500 was discontinued.

The earlier S E models looked alot like the FET 500's but they were definetly different.

They later featured split preamp and power amp modules with the power module being housed in the bottom of the cabinet.

OK....I stand corrected.....was not trying to cause a problem.

This appears to be s good deal on an Evans amp....and we all know they don't appear often.....somebody jump on this before it's gone!!

I bought this amp back in May of 2013. It was a
piece of crap. I sent it to Derrell Stephens and
he got it fixed for me.. Beware of doing business with
this guy. I sent him e-mail complaining and he would
not even answer me. I don't know why this is showing up as still for sale. By the way the amp
sounds wonderful after Derrell got though with it.

Charles,
Are you saying that you have the amp and he is trying to sell it on the forum not owning it?

It appears the listing was never closed and someone inquired about the Evans, and brought the listing back to life.

I would think Eddie right. Anyway I bought the amp
and have a lot more money in it than I intended.
Still beware of him.
