single neck steels with narrow pads?

Post by Bob Grado »

I'm looking to purchase a new S10 with a narrow pad.
(not an S10 on a D10 body)

Can anyone tell me which builders may be able to
accomodate me?

Thank you.

The Williams S10 is slightly deeper than a "standard" S10, which both gives better stability and makes room for a half-pad...which is all the pad you need.

go to "Player's Domain" and "Gallery" for pictures - Bill leaves the pad off for pix because he feels the wood is too beautiful to cover, but I have his half-pad ($40 option) on all of my steels....

Just checked, and he doesn't even have it in his price list any more...but I bet he'll put it on if you ask for it.

Check out BMI, great steels. Here's my sd10, it's got a narrower pad. Been very happy with it. "The working mans steel"

Email me direct at fredsmusic@q.com with your phone number, or call me at 480-986-2599 thanks.

PS, here is a lefty SD-10 I built.
The top is lefty but the pedals are standard.
