This is the latest cut from the Robbie Cockrell Band that i play with locally.
I did the steel work and the first time i played it was in the studio session.

My steel playin is absolutly inspired by Tommy White.
I was told over email after playin the Opry that another player listening thought it was Tommy playin "Fire On The Mountain"! How awesome to be compared to your hero and #1 player in the world to me. I couldn't carry Tommy's steel case but would if he needed me to! Love him!

Thx....km

After all the years i think i have finally achieved at getting the string rattle, zip and or bar noise out of my playin. When i listen to this each note is true and clean. I'm sure i will still do it some times but this one is pretty smooth!

It's how i hear Tommy White and what i work on everyday to do. He is so clean, smooth and i only hope to obtain his emotion he has in his hands one day! Thx TW!!!!

oh, thx Todd for the nice comment man.....km
