Marlen Guitar Parts Available

Post by Glenn Uhler »

Although I haven't known him very long, Lenny Stadler has asked me to announce to the Forum that he has retired from his calling as a Pastor and is going to the old Marlen Guitar shop in Reidsville a few days a week.

He is selling off the old stock of Marlen PSG parts to keep himself busy. The parts have sat there, essentially untouched, since his father passed on and they closed the shop. He doesn't have an exact inventory, but has put some of the parts on eBay under the name "bassman123golf".

If you are looking for something special, you can contact him at lenstadler1 at carolina dot rr dot com. He can put the part up on eBay if you want to use PayPal, or you can deal with him direct. He's got some health problems, so Lenny might not be able to answer your email immediately or ship your parts out the next day.

I got a couple of pieces from Lenny last week. He mentioned his health situation as Glenn says, but in my case at least he replied quickly and shipping was very prompt. And the parts look great.

I have a
D 10 Marlen with a beautiful western scene air brushed on the front, signed by Jarrett.Does any one out there have one like it? Some one told me that
Jarrett had done this to a few steels including Emmons. Any info would be helpful. Thanks Pete

Lenny Stadler says Hi to everyone on the Forum. He's trying to keep the Marlen Guitar name alive a little longer.

Nice man

Len is a nice man but the problem is he just doesnt know what parts he has or doesn't have. I would suggest someone have him take pictures of things he has...this would help then someone could identify items for him so he could sell and get a fair price for his things..

Thanks Bill & Michael. I found this out yesterday from
Michael Calaway, who used to build the Marlen from 1990 untill Mr Stadler died. He does repair work on most pedal steels. Located in Salem Va.
