I'm looking for a backup guitar and one to leave at the rehearsal space.

Looks don't matter so much as mechanics. A little character is not going to be an issue but I would prefer one that's at least mechanically sound. No projects, restorations or basket cases.

Willing to consider any model as long as it's a U-12 preferably 7X5. Newman copedent or a lightweight easy to work on guitar such as a Carter, GFI or something similar would be a plus.

Still looking for a good used U-12.

Dave has a GREAT guitar and has been very helpful. But this guitar will require more time than I can invest to change it to my copedent.

I am looking for a guitar that comes closer to the Jeff Newman U-12 copedent as I can get.

So I'm still looking.
