Any info on Walker steels?
Anyone have any info on Walker steels? Bought this one last year locally and I love it, but can't find any info anywhere. Thought I'd see if this vast wealth of forum knowledge might have run across one!
Thanks.

Hmmm. The underside isn't as pretty.
I wish I had the time and tools: I like the pull-release tone, but somebody needs to hang some more iron under there if you wanted all the modern changes, and I don't know how to make all that stuff

2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

I can't help you there, but while you can call the pull-release system primitive, you can't call it limited, any more than the push-pull is. But to make stupid gear do clever things, clever people have to set it up.
I still miss my pull-release Marlen.
