Mr.Stafford,
You do some amazing and beautiful work. It's obvious that you are a perfectionist. I noticed that you're an authorized Zumsteel service technician. I play a D10 Zum that is in great shape, but was wondering if you get many Zums through your shop. If so, what type of work do they generally need? Thank you.

Hi Mitch,
Thanks for your question and your very kind words.
To answer your question; No, I really don't get many ZumSteel guitars to work on, as compared to other brands. The majority of them have been in for copedent changes, revisions and/or the addition of knee levers. For example, I just added three C6 neck levers to an '09 D-10 that was purchased by a customer in Australia from someone in California. I purchased the parts from Bruce, installed them and shipped the guitar to the man in Australia. ZumSteel guitars are very well built, as I'm sure you know. They seldom need to be rebuilt, as long as they are maintained properly. _________________ Best regards,

Mr. Stafford,
Thank you for your quick reply. I have some questions that I would like to ask you, but using the hunt-and-peck method of typing, it takes me a looong time to type something. Would it be OK if I were to call you on the telephone sometime? If so, where can I find a contact number? Thank you very much.

Mitch, he lists his phone number on his website. On the front page. Of the page in his signature. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
