Tuning 4th (High E) on older ShoBud

Post by Bruce W Heffner »

I am for some reason stumped on this one. On a single raise/lower Sho Bud LDG model how is the F/F# tuned. I notice there are 2 brass tuners on the pull rod for the 4th string. I assume the F# is tuned with the nylon tuner on the endplate; however, perhaps I should not.

Thanks,

Bruce

Bruce, One is for the "F#" change and one is for your "E" to "F" change. You do tune at the endplate for both changes. If I am wrong here will someone stop me? I am sure that's the way.

Bruce the F to F# and E to F# are tuned with the same tuner at the right end.
When the change is enguaged than it is only enguaging that particular barrel tuner.

Thanks Ricky, I wasn't sure how to get that point across. Guess it was easier than I thought.
