Lexicon LXP5, and MRC ***Lower Price***

Post by Mike Wheeler »

Here's a nice setup for a small studio. I intended these to go in a small home studio, but retirement put an end to that. So, here ya go...some professional quality gear that will sound great in your studio. If you are not into midi you might not want this deal. It will take a little bit of learning to make this rig sing...but it's worth it.

By the way, the cases are in the same condition as when I bought them.
The LXP-1 has SOLD
The LXP5 is an effects processor for doing all the time based stuff like - flanging, pitch shifting, delay, and some reverb effects, etc. It's very versatile. The case is scratched up, but it works fine.
The MRC is the Midi Remote Controller designed for these two processors. With it you can edit all the parameters of any patch. Although the LXPs front panels allow some editing, only the MRC can get to every parameter.. The variations are just amazing. The MRC case is practically mint.

With these two boxes, you can program all your effects to perfection and then, when on stage, use the MRC to call any one of them up on the fly with the push of a couple buttons...and with the sliders, you can even adjust parameters live without permanently altering your carefully designed presets. They all interconnect with standard midi cables...I will include the 2 that I have.

I will admit I haven't used this setup much...I'm not into Midi enough to really appreciate all they can do. But I played around with it enough to be amazed at the possibilities.

Now, because they are old tech, I carefully went through them and replaced lots of power supply caps and a couple noisy voltage regulators. They are quiet and function as designed.

All the manuals are available online at Lexicon's website. I don't have power supplies for them, but they are readily available online for $10 to $20. I bought one at Guitar Center. 9VAC, 2000ma.(2amps)

I want to sell these as a package...no trades (unless you got something really hot)

PRICE FOR LXP-5 plus MRC IS NOW $160 plus SHIPPING...about $16.85
OR $85 for the LXP-5 alone
and $75 for the MRC alone.
Separate shipping will be 12.35 each.

Here's some pics...

Price drop....to $160 plus shipping (about $16.85 for both)
OR $85 for the LXP-5 alone
and $75 for the MRC alone
Separate shipping will be $12.35 each.

I'll sell them separately at the above prices, plus shipping. I'm also going to list them on the bay.

LXP-1 = SOLD
LXP-5 = $85 + sh
MRC = $75 + sh

Mitch Crane has first right of refusal on the LXP-1.

Thanks,
Mike

That's OK Mitch. No problem.

If anyone's on the fence, better get off. I'm listing them on Ebay tomorrow. b0b will get a cut no matter where it sells.

Mike
