JERRY BYRD's Fan Club now has a new "OLDE" tune posted on the opening web page.

It was recorded over the airwaves, to the best of our knowledge by Jerry's life-long friend and mentor
Ron Dearth of Lima, Ohio, that sold Jerry his first guitar. This would have been in around 1939-1941 while Jerry was settling in on the RENFRO VALLEY BARN Dance radio show, aired in both Cincinnati and Renfro Valley, Kentucky.

For any of you that seeks a challenge to your playing you'll certainly want to give a listen to this tune..."BLACK & WHITE RAG". It was performed in C6th tuning and has a tricky little 'affect' in the manner the strings are picked.
