I used to work in the Council House in Sutton Coldfield, a borough on the outskirts of Birmingham, England. In the basement, the janitor, who was an old man who had worked there for about 50 years, had a jar containing a piece of fæces, labelled "Queen Mary's Turd." Evidently, when Queen Mary visited the building the toilets were closed off for her personal use. Anything remaining in the system after she left had therefore originated with her, and so he kept it as a souvenir for many decades.

Maybe he should have auctioned it off.
