I'm trying to play the short intro part (starts at about 3 seconds):

I'm playing it at the 15 fret, using AB pedals, but it doesn't sound right. Anybody have any suggestions?

also working on this
We added this song to our set list and have also struggled with that little intro section. I am not 100% certain this is played on Steel .. could be on lap steel but
here is what I have come up with ... but it is tricky to play this way so I think it is something else .. guitar or lap steel.
---------------------------8^8E-- 8E^8

-------------------------11-----------
--------------8-8C-8-8C--------------
-------------8-8--8-8--8-------------

alternative
in place of the 8C on the 4th string you can play 8 on the first string, but it lacks the bending sound in the song. Dunno.

I also play it on 15th fret, really easy. Josh Bertrand who plays with Toby told me that he plays it on the steel, just using some distortion with a rat keeleey modded pedal.
Carter D10 8+5, Carter SD10 4+5, Hilton ME202, Goodrich L120, Peterson StroboPlus HD, Digitech DigiDelay, Peavey Nashville 112 Ken Fox Modded, Peavey Special 130 Ken Fox Modded, Zookies and Dunlop Picks, Ernie Ball Bar, George L'S Cables, Jagwire Strings... and my crappy hands, foot and knees
