Drew, thanks for taking the time to help and may the good lord bless you for your kindness .

There is some realy good idea`s in the tunings and i may try them all to try and find the one that i find the most usefull.

I am going to allso have another go at the E9/B6 to see if i can make some sence of it, because i do like to play swing.Had to part with my twin neck because of health problems because it was tooooo!!!!! heavy and my hip would have given out,im way over 60 and falling to bits HA!!HA!!so something had to go before my hips went and i ended up two foot shorter.

Do you know if there are any instruction matierial for the E9/B6 tuning?..thanks once again and god bless..

JIMMY..

Jimmy
Paul Newman's E9/B6 Universal course (audio).
It's ez,well done and progressive. The backing tracks sound a little like +/- 20 years ago but they swing a lot and it's real fun to play with.
Good Luck.

I believe Jeff Newman also has a video course for E9/B6, and Joe Wright does too.

Actually, once you get the hang of the B6 side, any C6 course will do. You just have to remember that to play in the same key as them, you play one fret higher. If you're already comfortable with C6, that's really the only change you need to make to play B6.
