Yes, "Once In a Lifetime" is a great CD...
Here are the tunes on it, Frank:
Dance With Me
When I Dream
Who's Sorry Now
The Very Thought of You
Canadian Sunset
True Love Ways
Pretty Woman
If I Had You
Here's That Rainy Day
I Don't Believe I'll Fall in Love Today
Sweet Dreams
Old Dogs & Children & Watermelon Wine
I Love You So Much It Hurts Me
It was produced by Billy Williams and issued thru Jeff's business Jeffran Music so I agree that Fran would be the best person to ask about present availability.

Jeff Newman
I knew Jeff Newman and as a kid, several of us came up together in Texas city , Tx.
Jeff left and he went of for bigger and better things. No doubt, he was a great player and teacher.
Yes, "Dance with me" was a great tune, but there were several players that did that song and they all were great. BUT!!, if you ever get a chance to hear that song, Dance with me by Tommy Dodd, then you you are in for a treat.
If you come to Dallas and if Tommy is there, then most likely he will do that tune and if so, you will know what I'm talkin' bout'.
Ok Tommy D, did I tell it like it is????

As anyone who has studied under Jeff Newman can attest to,myself included, you found out in short order that he was a very talented and gifted individual..His playing, taste and tone, were as good as anybody in the business, bar none.. He taught you more than just pedal steel guitar.. He taught you about LIFE, as well, at least that's what I got out of it to some degree.. he had a wicked sense of humor too, and kept things interesting all the time...I still practice his teachings today, because he left you with a lifetime of learning in the short period of time we spent together...I think he may have been a little under rated, but to his students, he certainly was not !! Our community lost a great teacher, and a gifted, talented individual, long before his time.. he will live on forever, through his teachings, and his music...My two cents worth...
