Just curious about who this steel player is. My first guess would be Norm but that's only a guess.

I believe the Steel Player is Sonny Curtis who played for George for many years. You may be interested in knowing Sonny tuned his steel "backwards" from everyone else...when he pressed his A+B pedals he went to a E instead of A in open position like everyone else. He told me that he didn't realize it was "backward" to everyone else, and just learned that way. Evidently it didn't hurt his playing any. Smile
