You know why no one remembers me in Panama Joe? Because they all died of old age. You are the one that said I was famous, not me. Where am I famous?
Stedman? Falconer? Busti? Stow? Chataqua? Mayville? Sherman? Boy, I hope not. You are totally correct, Uncle Doug is the famous guy, not me. I wouldn't even play steel(not that I do now)if it wern't for him, and his friends like you. You all did it to me as a youngster. And I appreciate it, I think.
Your buddy,
Bobbe

Jody Carver, How did this get back on here? bOb thought it would start a bunch of "hubbub", he's correct! It even got you to post and that's worth the whole thing !
I had just been born when it came out the first time! "History in your face", should be the new thread name here.
What are the new factorys? MSA is an old one, couldn't be that one, tell me who Jody,
and thanks for your input.
By the way Jody, I'm playing a triple neck Fender Stringmaster (26") on severel jobs and think of you every time I set it up.

Im not a religious person..but the factory I make reference to is God's Manufacturing C.O.

Hopefully production will produce better people in this world and not the hate that is
prominent in the world today.

The other factory?? is the Bobbe Seymour Inc
of bad spelling ,,lots of laughs and good service by a great player who plays with his
thumbs. Be well my friend,,,join the first
factory,,I did and hope to keep my job with
God as my supervisor.

Hope I can meet you someday ,,,I think you may like me a little bit. just a little is better than nothing...take care

Going back over this old thread is very wonderful. Things were a lot different when this thread was started. Ann Fabian and I were friends, John Paul Jones was alive and well, Jody Carver was in his posting prime,Smiley was just coming out of the closet,(in humor). Yes, This was and is a great piece of steel guitar history, and Theresa was wrong, this was and is a very informative thread, and becoming more every day.
I'm sure glad John Paul Jones posted here.
I miss him badly, as I would many of you.
Thank you to all of you, you are all a great bunch, You too Theresa.

By the way Mike W. , I still haven't gotten my Purple JCH, couple more years? Maybe? This is October 2, 02. Lets see how long before I get it. I guess they are busy, I better not try to rush them.
