How long do your strings last?

I change mine one at a time.
Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 53 years and still counting.

I have never understood all the fuss about changing strings.

This has always been my solution. Makita variable speed.

2.5 minutes I have removed 20 strings.

Another 12 minutes 20 new installed.

i can't afford one of those, let alone strings!
