Pedal Steel rental in Los Angeles area.

HI everyone,

I'm hoping to be able to rent a quality pedal steel guitar standard E9 emmons setup in the Los Angeles area for March 2nd to 10th. If anyone has any leads on available rentals I'd really appreciate a post or message.

Going to be recording a record out there and as much as I'd love to bring my steel all the way from nyc, it just doesn't seem right, especially considering my case is about the fall apart.

Thanks for any help and my apologies if this is posted in the wrong folder. Couldn't quite figure out which one would be appropriate.

Tommy, you can't even buy a steel in L.A., let alone rent one. There is not a single store in this entire city that carries them.

You might try calling Blackie Taylor in Riverside, whose shop is about 60 miles away, at (951)686-4010, or Jim Palenscar, who is 90 miles away in Oceanside, at (760) 754-2120. Perhaps one of them will have something they can rent you.
