L@@K new Peterson V-SAM

Post by Gary Steele »

I am adding this what you are reading now. This is Brand new not out yet. This is not the VS-1 that has been out. I forgot to mention this V-SAM will be out in MARCH of 2003. This tuner has E9TH AND C6TH PRESETS. Peterson has recently put a lot of thought in this one designed for the STEEL GUITARIST. A peterson Rep just sent me this. Check this baby out.

Kenny, This new V-SAM is not out untill March of 2003. I added a bunch in this beginning post up above. Read carefully this tuner is designed for the steel guitar. It has presets for E9th AND C6TH. And also you can program different tunings of your choice if you want the variety. Kenny this is awesome for the Steel man and Women.

That makes me SO MAD. Image Image Image

That's TWICE in the past six months I've bought 'last year's model' with a substantially improved version released within a month or two of my purchase.

I bought a Pod 2.1 two months before the XT was released and now I hear the Peterson VS-1 now has the feature I wanted most that wasn't there in the VS-1 -- the ability to store offsets.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr............

Sorry Larry, welcome to the digital age. State of the art means less than 3 months old anymore. I'm glad to see Peterson do this. I bought the first model and returned it because it wouldn't store presets. I bugged the Peterson tech guy and told him how useful it would be for PSG to have such features. I guess he actually listened to our requests. Go Peterson!

If nobody at Peterson plays pedal steel-then I must be the closest player to their plant- which is a group of buildings together just a hop, skip, and jump away from my home-I was there the other day and got all the new product liturature-I was wishing for one of their rack mount units with same features-I have several of their older models-which are still great units Image
[This message was edited by PAUL WARNIK on 01 February 2003 at 06:30 PM.]
